My father was an oil painter, and who I inherited my love of art from.  He grew up on a rural farm in Nebraska, and spent many hours on his beloved horse, Babe.  I was fortunate enough to have been able to ride Babe as a child, and I also have a photograph of me placing my firstborn son on Babe's back.  This piece memorializes that special beast.
